The Public Works Department encompasses a number of different city services: water, sewer, streets, parks and recycling. They provide for utility services, recycling and the maintenance of public facilities such as streets and parks.The Streets and Parks group maintains city streets, parks, buildings, and grounds through lawn mowing, snow and ice removal, and related activities. Water and Sewer operates, maintains, and repairs all city water-mains, sanitary sewer-mains, and storm sewers.
