The Police Department would like to recognize the St. Francis American Legion for donating the Flag Memorial, in front of our building.  The memorial was built in memory of Gerald Boos, former Chief of Police, and in honor of the St. Francis Police Officers and Fire Fighters.

Crimes of Opportunity
DO NOT MAKE YOURSELF A VICTIM!

Crimes of Opportunity are when you make it easy for a criminal to commit a crime, thus making yourself an easy target.  Here are some hints to help you protect yourself and your property:

  1. Lock your vehicles that are in the driveway or parked on the street.
  2. Do not leave your keys in your vehicles.
  3. Take all personal property out of vehicle.
  4. Lock the doors and windows of your home.
  5. Put bicycles in the garage or storage areas.
  6. Report ALL suspicious activity.
